Mesa Pool Decks
A refreshed surface for the concrete around your pool, cooler and cleaner underfoot.
Pool decks in Mesa take years of direct sun, pool chemicals and monsoon storms. The textured coating fades and peels, cracks open along the slab, and stains collect where furniture sits.
If the concrete underneath is sound, resurfacing gives you a new surface without tearing out the slab. Cracks are opened and filled first, then a new coating or overlay is applied.
We schedule deck work last on a full remodel, after tile, coping and the new interior, so the fresh surface doesn't get chipped by other crews.

A light, textured coating that stays more comfortable underfoot.

A stone or tile pattern stamped into a thin concrete overlay.

Cracks routed and filled before any new surface goes on.

A clean, even surface that ties the pool to the patio.

The City of Mesa's pool barrier brochure says all pools must be enclosed by a barrier, with the top at least 5 feet above grade. Gates must open outward, away from the pool, and be self-closing and self-latching. A remodel is a good time to check that your fence and gates still meet those rules.
It depends on sun, traffic and upkeep. Resealing on a schedule helps the color and texture hold up longer, and we'll give you a care plan.
We open and fill cracks before resurfacing, which keeps them from telegraphing through right away. Concrete still moves, so control joints are placed where the slab is most likely to crack.
Light-colored, textured coatings stay noticeably more comfortable than bare or dark concrete in direct sun. They're the most common pool deck finish in Mesa for that reason.
Usually not. If a section has to come off for access, we reinstall it and check that the gates still close and latch on their own.
Tell us about your deck and what's wrong with it. We'll check the slab and recommend a surface.
